Mike Chang’s Six Pack Shortcuts program is a comprehensive workout program that will help you build lean muscle, burn stubborn fat, and get six pack abs using a variety of strength and conditioning exercises and training protocols along with a collection of other lifestyle habits to help you build an attractive physique you can be proud of.
I’ll say right off the bat that after reviewing the vast majority of the product materials, this is a good (ie not great) program for the right person. And if you’re not the right person, then this will be a very lousy program that isn’t worth your money, and especially your time. So, when it comes down to it, who you are is more important than what Six Pack Shortcuts is.
Try to think of it this way. If Six Pack Shortcuts is right for you and your needs, goals, and circumstances, then I’d probably rate it at 4 out of 5 stars. If Six Pack Shortcuts is not right for you, then it’s probably a 1 out of 5 star product. If that sounds overly-complicated, it’s because it is. Thus, the reason for this extensive product review. Regardless, after reading through this comprehensive Six Pack Shortcuts review, you’ll know for sure whether or not this program is right for you.
QUESTION: My forearms are not the same size. Any suggestion on what I should do? – Luke
Here’s what I’d do.
- Visit your doctor to rule out any medical problems. It could be a neurological issue, a rehab issue, or something else you haven’t thought of. If they give you the A-OK, try the following ideas.
- Start training with unilateral tools and exercises, and avoid most bilateral training for awhile. For example, start doing more dumbbell rows instead of barbell rows. Start doing more lunges than squats. Do dumbbell curls instead of barbell curls (etc.). Try some single-arm clubbell or kettlebell exercises. The more unilateral training that you do, the more likely your lagging muscles will start to catch up.
- I’d also do some focused isolation work (i.e. grip training) for BOTH forearms, paying particular attention to contracting those muscle groups. You can do some thick bar training, clubbell training, heavy farmer walks, pinching exercises, and others.
- Make sure you don’t only train (or over-train) your lagging muscle groups. Keep the volume the same for both arms. Focus on intensity, effort, and getting a good pump once in awhile.
- Increase your mental concentration when training your weaker side. Focus on contracting the right muscle groups. Squeeze them hard. Slow down your reps, and hold the contraction.
If you put these tips to good use, I’d bet you’ll be balanced out in a few months.
Hello my name is casey and i have seen some of mike chang`s videos on youtube before even followed some of his work outs he has shown and did get pretty decent results not in tone and body fat loss but did get alot stronger which is what i was going for but i had moved and wasn`t able to keep going to my gym couldn`t afford it so i ended up getting lazy and well lost some strength and put on some more fat and i hate it so i was looking to lose it and get ripped and i came across his six pack shortcuts afterburn which after getting the results i did in the time i did when i was working out alot i really want to believe this is a legit thing he has proven to me that he knows what the hell he is doing but for 97 bucks its hard to commit to that just on that alone sure he knew some good work outs but does his idea that he has work the 4 hormones he talked about all seem legit and he seemed to know what he was talking about but without sitting down and trying to find out if he is full of it and with affiliates and everything out there just talking the talk for it i figured contacting six pack shortcuts was my best bet to find out if its as amazing as he says or not am sure i will get alot of talking the talk from this as well i understand that but i am hoping that this will tell me more about it then anything else sure you will try to sell it to me twice as hard and be 10 times more convincing then any affiliate but you will also have facts and proof and thats what i am hoping to get that and some reassurance
I understand your concerns. You threw a lot at me. So, I’ll keep this short and to the point.
I’m not trying to sell anything or be “more convincing than any affiliate.” What I have done is I posted an honest product review of Six Pack Shortcuts after spending several months evaluating the program, and I leave it up to you to decide if it’s worth your investment. My review is the most thorough, comprehensive, and helpful product review available online for the Six Pack Shortcuts program – nothing else out there even comes close. So, I feel that I’ve done my part, at least, as best I can.
If it helps, I wrote the review because I had a lot of people asking me about Mike Chang and his SPS program (I run another fitness blog at www.PhysicalLiving.com). I also wrote it because, like you, I couldn’t find a legitimate and helpful product review from a trustworthy source. So, I filled that gap with my review, and I put a lot of time and effort into it, as you can tell from it’s 10,000+ words!
So, I guess what I’m saying is that this is what you need, right here: Six Pack Shortcuts Review.
Everything you need to know before you buy Six Pack Shortcuts is in there. But if you need further clarification on something, or if you have any other specific questions about the program, please let me know. I’d be more than happy to help.
Hi since you have a complete knowledge. Will you be able to help me out that if they provide day by day exercise in a chart form like how many reps and which day for legs and day for chest and everything???
Also I am a vegetarian who can have eggs and dairy products also will there be diet plan for me too??
To answer your first question, yes, there are detailed exercise instructions on how to complete the workout program – including some day-by-day workout charts in a PDF manual.
Regarding the Zero Willpower Eating Diet that comes with the Six Pack Shortcuts program, I don’t remember much, if any, information about making it work as a vegetarian. As I mentioned in my review, this is primarily a workout program, and the diet stuff is more of an add-on bonus. And honestly, the diet program that’s included is really just a little bit of info to get you started, and I’m pretty sure it was catered to omnivores anyway. So, I doubt you’ll get much help from Six Pack Shortcuts for your specific dietary needs.
If you’re looking for a great resource for the diet and nutrition side of things, I highly recommend the book, Burn The Fat Feed The Muscle by Tom Venuto. It’s one of the best resources there is on nutrition for body transformation, and it can be adapted to all diets and specific needs (e.g. vegetarian, vegan, Paleo, low-carb, etc.). I’ve known several vegetarians that have used that program successfully over the years.
So, if you’re sold on Six Pack Shortcuts, but want a more suitable diet program to follow, I’d recommend getting the BFFM book, too. You won’t be disappointed.
Let me know if you have any further questions. I’d be more than happy to help!
