What is inside the Six Pack Shortcuts program? Is it more of a program or a system? And what do you actually get when you buy it? Find out in this Q+A article…
Many people are wondering, “what is Six Pack Shortcuts?” And more importantly, can it really help you get six pack abs?
And it makes sense, too. I mean, the way some people talk about it, it’s put up on a pedestal like it’s the holy grail of getting six pack abs, but little has been said of what’s actually inside the product itself. Well, you’re about to find out exactly what is inside the Six Pack Shortcuts program.
What is Six Pack Shortcuts in a Nutshell?
In a nutshell, Mike Chang’s Six Pack Shortcuts program is a workout program that was designed to help young men burn fat, build muscle, and ultimately, get six pack abs. It involves an in-depth strength training program with some conditioning circuits in combination with some coaching recommendations on other dietary and lifestyle habits that are necessary to get six pack abs.
Six Pack Shortcuts is not a physical product, but a digital one that you can download and/or stream onto your computer, smart phone, or tablet (ie or anything else that will let you browse the internet and display flash videos. At this time, purchase also includes some DVD’s as an optional method to watch the video portion of the product.
So, when you buy Six Pack Shortcuts, you will be given access to a private member’s area, which is where you can view and download the entire product. Here’s a screenshot I took of the members area homepage…
Once you’re inside the member’s area, you’ll have access to over 14 hours of video footage (in the mostly-universal mp4 format) and several dozen e-books (ie PDF files) containing the workout program and instructions. Obviously, this is a rather large product, in terms of raw materials, to work through.
What Makes Six Pack Shortcuts Unique?
The main thing that Mike Chang proposes is different about Six Pack Shortcuts is what he calls the Afterburn Effect, which is a very real phenomenon (ie known by several different names) that assists in body transformation – fat loss, muscle gain, etc. In my own research of the Six Pack Shortcuts product, I’ve found this effect to be present in the workouts, but it is in no way unique to this product. Many fitness programs implement the Afterburn Strategy, albeit usually under a different name. The Afterburn Effect is simply a good selling point, which is why Mike Chang Fitness has featured it front and center in their marketing efforts.
What kind of workouts will you be doing in the Six Pack Shortcuts program?
Most of the training involved in Six Pack Shortcuts will involve conventional weight lifting, bodyweight training, calisthenics, and what Mike calls “bodyweight-cardio workouts,” that last for a period of about 30-45 minutes (on average). You’ll be doing lifts like squats, rows, presses, curls, deadlifts, among many others. And you’ll be using many bodyweight exercises like pushups, pullups, lunges, etc. There are also some less conventional exercises and training strategies in this system that will be new for most people.
Is The Six Pack Shortcuts program a diet or workout program?
As has been said, this is a workout program first, and a diet/food/nutrition program second. The bulk of the product materials are training-oriented, and this is really what you’re paying for – the 12-week program. However, purchasing Six Pack Shortcuts also comes with access to Mike’s Zero Willpower Eating System, which includes a bunch of food/nutrition/diet videos to help you start making better food choices. Speaking of which…
What else is inside the Six Pack Shortcuts program?
Along with the Zero Willpower Eating System, there are a number of other bonuses that come with your purchase. Firstly, you’ll get access to what Mike calls the Muscle Building Vault, which is a database of 59 exercise technique videos. Secondly, you’ll also get access to the Insane Home Fat Loss Program, which includes a 9-day workout plan that you can use at home (and 9 videos to go with it). On top of that, you’ll receive access to 25 “advanced fitness coaching” videos that will provide tips and strategies on topics ranging from training to nutrition, among other things. You’ll also get three additional bonus videos by fitness expert, Vince DelMonte for further coaching.
At its most basic level, what is Six Pack Shortcuts?
All of the bonuses aside, the Six Pack Shortcuts program is comprised of three main elements.
1) There are three intro videos to help you get started.
2) There are two ebook manuals (ie PDF guides) to help you follow the program, track your progress, and make exercise substitutions.
3) There are also 26 workout videos that will explain the workouts contained in the whole program (plus, some PDF’s with notes for each workout).
So, hopefully by now, you know what is inside the Six Pack Shortcuts program. Obviously, there is a lot of information contained within this product, and it will take awhile to work through. But if it jives with you, and you get it and use it, then I’m confident you’ll be glad you did (if you’re the right candidate, of course).
